Ear Training
A few years ago a band played a sax line in a song, that band was called Balkan Beat Box.
This last year, an American group made a song called ‘Talk Dirty’ which uses the beat and sax line. Seems like it’s getting pretty popular around the world.
The style is possibly a little different than what you’re used to saying, has a distinctive sound. The sax player who recorded it, Ori Kaplan, also plays Klezmer clarinet.
On Sax Station, I made a video lesson with the scrolling style. But I thought I would try something a little different here.
Here’s what the line sounds like:

Alto Sax: Eb, E, F#, G, A
Tenor Sax: G#, A, B, C, D
